Elijah Kaufman -
Outreach & CRS Coordinator, Nebraska Dept of Natural Resources
Elijah Kaufman is the Outreach and CRS Coordinator for the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources Floodplain Management Division and is a Certified Floodplain Manager. Elijah presents training & outreach programs that help local communities implement the National Flood Insurance Program and Community Rating System. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2019 with a BA in Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness. For NeDNR, Elijah serves as a point of contact for Nebraska’s floodplain administrators and the public, providing technical support toward NFIP compliance and flood insurance. He also assists communities in responding to disasters, updating local floodplain ordinances, and giving monthly training to floodplain officials in Nebraska.
Brian Yentes -
Vice President Land Surveyor, RW Engineering & Surveying
SENSLA Board Member Brian Yentes is the Vice President Land Surveyor for RW Engineering & Surveying. He has 27 years of professional experience. He graduated from Purdue University in 2000 with a BS in Land Surveying & Engineering. He is licensed in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota & Kansas. Most importantly, he is a Buffalo Bills fan.
