SPEAKERS
Steve Cobb, RLS Nebraska State Surveyor
Steve has over 37 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in both the public and private sectors. Registered to practice in Nebraska in 1982, Steve came to the Nebraska State Surveyor’s Office in 1987, was appointed as Deputy State Surveyor in 1989, and the State Surveyor in 2005.
Brent Jorgensen, RLS Jorgensen Surveying
Brent graduated with an AAS in Surveying and Mapping from Denver Institute of Technology in 1990 and worked in the Denver area until 1999. He relocated to Southeast Nebraska and worked for three firms before becoming licensed in Nebraska and Kansas. Brent owns and operates Jorgensen Surveying from 2004 to present. He is also licensed in Missouri.
Mike McNaney, RLS Survey Coordinator
Papio-Missouri Natural Resources District Mike has 30 years of experience which have included work in Pennsylvania and in Nebraska at E&A before landing at the NRD. Mike became a licensed Land Surveyor in Nebraska in 2002.

IT Applications Developer/GIS Analyst
State of Nebraska OCIO
Jeff is the GIS Server Manager for the State of Nebraska responsible for promoting the collaboration of GIS in the State. He assists the State GIS Coordinator to organize and maintain geospatial data and web mapping projects that support the State Geographic Information Systems (GIS) enterprise system.
