Brent Jorgensen - PLS 621
Brent will be speaking on the history of projections, with a primary focus on current projections, their advantages, and recent changes. He will also cover some setup processes for equipment, associated software, and additional tools, along with covering a process for checking the projection once it is entered in your equipment. The discussion will conclude with an opportunity to ask and answer any remaining questions.

Brent Jorgensen, PLS 621 - Owner, Jorgensen Surveying
Brent Jorgensen is the Owner of Jorgensen Surveying and is licensed in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. He graduated from Denver Institute of Technology with an Associates Degree in Surveying and Mapping in 1989 and has been surveying continuously since. He has worked in small and large surveying and engineering firms, both in Denver and Omaha. He also served in the US Army on active duty, in the Iowa, Colorado and Nebraska National Guard, and the US Army Reserve. He retired from the military in 2005 with 21 years of combined service. He currently serves as the Johnson County Surveyor, and in the past, has been the elected Richardson County Surveyor and the appointed Pawnee County Surveyor.
Brent lives rurally near Tecumseh with his wife, Marcy and 7 draft horses.
